Cumbrian Student wins Bendles Dissertation Award!

Congratulations to Morgana Walker who has won the Bendles Dissertation Award from the University of Cumbria. The prize is awarded by the University to the overall best performing student in respect of their dissertation module. This award was given by the University at the Graduation Ceremony which was attended by John Stevenson, Managing Partner.

Morgana commented: ‘I was thrilled when I received the Bendles Law Dissertation award. It feels like a great accomplishment to be recognised by the University of Cumbria and a local law firm. Thank you to everyone from Bendles that made me feel welcome at the office! It was great to be introduced to everyone and have a look around.’

Earlier in the year Hannah Smith, Partner and Training Principle, attended the University to view the students posters that are completed as part of their dissertation module. Hannah said “I was impressed by the varied topics that were covered by the students this year and the commitment to their dissertations. Speaking with the students it was clear how much pride and effort had gone into their work. Morgana should be very proud of her achievement.”
